2007 Radio & TV Sevareid Awards Competition Information

Instructions

Who can enter?
All entries must be submitted by a broadcast station, an educational institution, or an individual student.  No independent professional productions will be accepted.

Air dates:
All entries must have aired during calendar year 2007.  Please indicate on the entry form the date(s) the program was broadcast.

Number of entries:
There is no limit to the number of entries that an entrant may submit.  Each station must include one overall entry form listing all entries from the station.  ALL TAPES, DVDS OR COMPACT DISCS MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED.  Improperly labeled tapes will not be accepted.

Multiple entries:
If applicable, a story may be entered in more than one category (i.e. Feature & Best Audio), however, two entry fees must be submitted.  More than one entry can be recorded on each tape, more than one category cannot (i.e. all of your Feature entries can be on the same tape; your Feature and Best Video entries cannot be on the same tape!)

Tape size and quality:
All radio entries must be recorded on standard audio tape cassettes or compact disks (preferred).  All television entries must be recorded on finalized DVD (preferred) or standard VHS video tapes. 

Supplementary material:
Supplementary material, including a written one paragraph summary placing an entry in context, may accompany entries, but judging will be based solely on the broadcast entry.  Do not bind supplementary information, entry forms, or other materials that accompany the entry.

No return policy:
All audio tapes, compact discs and video tapes used to submit radio and television entries become the property of NBNA.  The difficulty of getting tapes, CDs or DVDs back from judges scattered across the country requires this policy.

Deadline:
Entries must be postmarked by Friday, January 18, 2008.  Late entries will not be accepted.

Entry fees:
Fees, payable to NBNA are as follows:
$15 for each radio entry.
$20 for each television entry.

Note: NBNA accepts payment by check, VISA or M/C. To pay by credit card, please include info on entry sheet.
